To eliminate health variations and much better understand aging procedures in ethnically diverse populations, reliable methods for increasing involvement of minority populations in health research study are required. To design an effective method that will encourage older adults to offer for research study, particularly those from disparity populations, needs understanding factors of successful recruitment and designing innovative methods to address recognized barriers to recruitment. We offer 2 kinds of resources on this topic.

CADC faculty and scholars have advanced recruitment methods in a number of methods through our tasks hiring clients from health care settings and hiring people from neighborhoods. We summarize our publications on the following elements of recruitment of varied older grownups and other health variations populations.

One ingenious recruitment method is the development of health computer system registries. (Drs. Celia Kaplan, Tung Nguyen, and Leah Karliner) reviewed six publications by methodically reporting methodological aspects of developing and carrying out health registries targeting older grownups.
